I’ve always had heavy periods. Not just a little heavier than normal — I’m talking “crime scene” periods, like something out of a horror movie. I was doubling up on tampons and overnight pads, still soaking through in less than two hours. Waking up to blood-soaked sheets, even when I laid a towel down “just in case.” Planning my entire day around where the restrooms would be, wearing only black clothes, and holding my breath every time I laughed, coughed, or sneezed in public.

It wasn’t just uncomfortable. It was inconvenient, time consuming, exhausting and deeply frustrating. That’s why I created the Anu™ Clean Cup out of sheer necessity.

WHAT'S IT MADE OF?

Anu™ Clean Cup is made of a soft polymeric rim attached to a multi-layered reservoir. The reservoir is composed of three parts. An impervious polyurethane barrier coupled with a one way porous polyurethane film. Housed within the film is a fluid locking core. Anu™ Clean Cup’s unique design allows the cup to collect significantly increased amounts of fluid compared to traditional menstrual cups and discs. Fluid stays locked away even under compression. It doesn’t “self-empty” when you pee, sneeze, cough, or laugh. And it won’t overflow when your flow is accompanied by clots.
